Well placed and has solid claims. PIERRE ROYAL (3) First up after 52 weeks and ran well when 2nd first up last preparation at Gowran Park. Has early speed and positions nicely. Drops back to a suitable grade. Must respect. ROYAL SAXO (2) Goes well first up. Looked good when 2nd last time at Deauville but racing against tougher rivals. Likely to settle back in the field. No surprise to see a forward showing and one of the main hopes in this race. EARLS (8) Nice run when 2nd last time at Roscommon. Can win.
